As a student and instructor in Physics I have long been particularly fascinated with the behavior and properties of light. The refractive and reflective properties of transparent objects has held my attention both visually and mathematically. In studies of chaos theory I have also become interested in patterns of so called "randomness" which can have its own inherent beauty. My art work didn't take a structured form until I began studying at the Art League of Long Island where formal training in art began. I have been fortunate enough to have been selected to show my work at several galleries and exhibits achieving several awards in juried contests.

My special interest is in portraiture. Commissions are acccepted. I work from sittings as well as from photographs. Contact me for further information.
